6 inch Soft Arkansas Oilstone

Soft Arkansas is the most popular of the grades of novaculite. It is an all-purpose stone used by wood carvers, sportsmen, butchers and commercial knife sharpeners who desire a keen, sharp edge on knives and tools in a minimum of time. Soft arkansas is a medium grade stone, hard arkansas is medium fine and surgical black is very fine. All grades of oilstones (whetstones) should be used with honing oil. Arkansas oilstones are natural stones hand cut from the Ouachita mountains in Arkansas.
